Hennessey Goliath 6×6 – production limited to 24 units07/18/2019
Hennessey Performance (HPE) never fails to deliver something exciting, and here’s another example of it doing just that. Several months after revealing the Goliath 6×6, the company is introducing the first production unit that will be delivered to Bob Berrard, owner of the largest potato farm in the state of Wisconsin.
The Goliath is based on the latest Chevrolet Silverado Trail Boss Z71, which undergoes a comprehensive conversion where an additional axle, wheels and brakes are fitted to the pick-up truck.
With two axles at the rear, a new suspension system is required, and the increased length also warrants a custom bed that should fit a great many things. The upgrades don’t stop there, as an eight-inch lift kit is also included, along with 20-inch wheels wrapped with BFG 37-inch off-road tyres.
To complete the look, model-specific graphics are applied onto the bodywork, along with a rollbar, LED lights and Hennessey-designed bumpers. As for the interior, the model’s name is embroidered on the seat backrests so passengers know they’re riding around in something special, more so if they’re called David.
For this specific example, the 6.2 litre V8, which makes 420 hp and 624 Nm of torque when stock, has only been lightly tampered with to now make 450 hp thanks to a cold air intake and stainless steel exhaust system with side-mounted outlets. HPE also offers a HPE700 Supercharged package that comes with a 2.9 litre supercharger system producing for 705 hp, and an 808 hp stroker motor upgrade as options.
If you want to join Bob in owning a Goliath 6×6, the base price is USD375,000 (RM1,542,637), and this includes the truck that will be converted. The vehicle is available for export to international markets, but production is limited to just 24 units. Interested?
