Find Out Why Nissan Is Putting the Toyota RAV4 In Its Dealerships11/13/2020
Nissan is showing its confidence in its 2021 Rogue by renting Toyota‘s RAV4 for half of its 1,074 dealerships in the U.S. These RAV4s — currently the segment’s best-seller — will then be set next to the 2021 Rogue where potential compact crossover SUV buyers can see for themselves which one is better.
There’s no info right now on which trims will be rented for comparison but as Autoblog puts it, this could be a dangerous move for Nissan as Toyota RAV4 is the top-selling crossover for a reason with multiple quality trims such as TRD Off-Road and hybrid versions — the Rogue maintains only one drivetrain variant.
Regardless, this is a pretty bold move from Nissan in standing behind its products.
