Next-gen Nissan X-Trail unveiled06/16/2020
Nissan has taken the wraps off the next generation X-Trail. The SUV is also known as the Rogue is some markets.
As is the trend nowadays, Nissan has also gone with the split headlight design with the main headlamps positioned lower down on the front bumper and L-shaped LED daytime running lights on top. The SUV also gets Nissan’s typical V-Motion grille.
The new X-Trail also gets a completely redesigned dual-tone interior. It features a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The centre console houses a 9.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Lower variants get either a 7.0-inch or 5.0-inch head-unit. A 10.8-inch head-up display is also part of the package.
The new X-Trail is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 179 BHP and 245 Nm. The engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The SUV is available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The X-Trail comes with ProPilot Assist with Navi-Link which monitors the GPS and slows the car down for junctions and curves. It also comes with traffic sign recognition and can increase of decrease the speed according to the speed limit after getting confirmation from the driver.
