The Kushaq will be offered with 1.0L and 1.5L petrol engine options.

A new image of the production-spec Skoda Kushaq has surfaced online. The picture appears to have been taken at a Skoda workshop. There are three Kushaq SUVs in this image and one of them is a camouflaged prototype. The one of the middle is equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels, which suggests that this could be a higher variant.

The Kushaq is based on the MQB A0 IN platform, which is shared with the Volkswagen Taigun. The SUV will be offered with two engine options – a 1.0-litre, 113 BHP TSI petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission, and a 1.5-litre, 148 BHP TSI petrol engine paired to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

Higher variants of the Kushaq will come with features such as automatic climate control, ventilated front leather seats, sunroof, automatic headlamps and wipers, a 10-inch infotainment system and 6 airbags. Lower variants are expected to get a 7-inch touchscreen head unit.
