Virtual Racing on TV: Where to Find NASCAR, IndyCar, F1 and Other Action April 4-5

Racing continues to make the most of a tough situation, as it’s on to another weekend of esports and iRacing as IndyCar, NASCAR, F1 and even the Road to Indy series will be in action.

Well, virtual action, anyway.

This weekend, the productions are upping their game, so tune in early. IndyCar will have Miss Alabama Tiara Pennington on hand to sing the national anthem, and Alabama treasure and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley (that’s the real Pennington and Barkley, to be clear) will check in with the command to “start your engines” from virtual Barber Motorsports Park.

On the NASCAR side, country music star Justin Moore (he’s real, too) will be performing before the green flag. Moore’s virtual prerace concert will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET on NASCAR’s YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels.

Here’s a look at the real schedule of this weekend’s major virtual racing events:

NASCAR Cup: NASCAR Pro Series Invitational iRacing Series, virtual Bristol Motor Speedway, featuring NASCAR Cup Series drivers, 1 p.m. and 10 p.m. (reair), FS1, Fox Sports App

Formula 1: F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix, featuring current F1 drivers Charles Leclerc, Alex Albon, George Russell, Lando Norris, Nicholas Latifi, 3 p.m., ESPN2.
