Volvo evaluating X40 Recharge electric SUV for India06/04/2020
According to a media report, Volvo is evaluating the XC40 Recharge electric SUV for India.
The XC40 Recharge was unveiled in October 2019. It is the brand’s first electric vehicle (EV). It comes with a dual-tone roof with Recharge badging and a closed grille. On the inside, it comes with an Android-powered touchscreen head-unit with Google Maps, Google Assistant, Play Store and Volvo On Call.
The XC40 Recharge has two 150 kW electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles. They produce 402 BHP and 659 Nm. Volvo claims that the car does 0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
The XC40 Recharge uses a 78 kWh battery that is claimed to offer a maximum range of more than 400 km (WLTP cycle). The battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in 40 minutes using a fast charger.
