Record 23-race 2022 F1 calendar officially announced10/15/2021
The 2022 Formula 1 calendar has been confirmed and will, as expected, consist of a record number of races, 23.
The sport has long spoken of its intention to have 23 races next year after their plan to so in 2021 was thwarted by the global pandemic.
Various reports have emerged in recent weeks about the specific rounds on it, with the latest from the BBC reporting that Imola would replace Shanghai.
That reports, as well as many others, have proved to be correct, with there being few surprises in the schedule that has now been officially confirmed.
